The Maligakanda Magistrates Court has actually provided a restraining order versus 26 individuals consisting of Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, avoiding them from getting in the Hospital Square location in Colombo today (26 Feb.).

The order was issued based upon a demand made by the OIC of the Maradana Police previously today, following info received about a political demonstration scheduled for today in a number of locations in Colombo, consisting of those surrounding the Colombo National Hospital, National Eye Hospital, the Cardiology Unit of the National Hospital of Sri Lanka and the Hospital Square location in Maradana, Colombo.
