The issuance of drivers’ licenses at the Anuradhapura District Office of the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) is scheduled to be temporarily halted for two days next week, as per a notice issued by the DMT.Accordingly, the issuance of drivers’ licenses will be temporarily halted at the DMT’s Anuradhapura District Office on 16th and 17th of October, in view of maintenance work.Thus, those who have been requested to visit the office on the aforementioned dates to obtain the relevant service may, instead, visit the DMT’s Anuradhapura District Office on another date of their choice, the notice said.
