RAIPUR: The secretary of BJPs Jagdalpur district system in Bastar was found dead under strange situations after going out for his day-to-day early morning walk on Tuesday.The body of Budhram Kartam (35) was discovered around 2 km from his home.

Police are scanning CCTV video footage of the roadway and neighboring locations.

Kartams family members went to the police when he didnt return from his walk for a very long time.

They reported him missing.

A cops group went trying to find him and found the body near a culvert on National Highway-32, close to Kilepal town.

He had serious injuries to the face and head, police said.Strangely, his shoes were discovered around half a kilometre far from the body.

The area was cordoned off and forensic professionals gathered proof from the website.

Cops have signed up an FIR.

Kartam had joined BJP as a teenager in 2005 and functioned as Kilepal panchayat secretary and in the Bastanar Yuva Morcha Mandal.
