NEW DELHI: A 30-year-old research scholar from IIT was eliminated and his friend hurt on Tuesday night when they were hit by a vehicle while crossing Outer Ring Road.

The deceased, Ashraf Nawaz Khan, from Siwan in Bihar, was pursuing Ph.D at the fabric and fiber engineering department and remained at the hostel.
