Citizens of Mexico and 18 other countries will be able to get tourist visas for as much as 6 months in Russia by just scheduling a hotel in Russia, according to a decree signed today by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.In addition to Mexico, Bahrain, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Iran, Cambodia, China, North Korea, Kuwait, Laos, Malaysia, Burma, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Thailand, Turkey, and the Philippines will benefit from this procedure, according to the decree.In August 2021, Russia passed a law streamlining visas for foreign travelers and enabling them to receive a view for as much as 6 months based on a hotel reservation.Citizens of Mexico and 18 other countries will have the ability to get traveler visas for as much as 6 months in Russia by merely scheduling a hotel in Russia (Photo web reproduction)Subsequently, in December 2022, a law was passed offering the Government the right to approve the list of nations whose tourists can request such a simplified visa.Citizens of nations not consisted of in this list are not qualified for such visas.Foreign tourist dropped dramatically in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and never ever recovered due to the start of the Russian military project in Ukraine in February 2022.
