The PM thanked all the parties that provided vote of self-confidence and looked for to explore the possibility of consensus for the 4 posts - president, vice-president, speaker and deputy speaker, Lekhak said and included that although NC was the primary opposition in the House of Representatives, it was prepared to work out on the issue as these posts required the post holder to play neutral role reflecting the sentiments of national unity.Asked if the NC would field its candidate for speaker tomorrow, Lekhak said celebration leaders would take a call after holding conversations within the celebration.

NC is considering the presidents post.CPN-MC leader and newly-appointed Minister of Communications and Information technology Rekha Sharma said that the PM called the meeting generally to thank those parties that gave him vote of self-confidence and also explored possibilities of agreement to elect the key posts.According to Sharma the PM told the all party conference there was need for consensus amongst political parties as concerns of citizenship and the border could be dealt with through agreement among the celebrations.

The PM stated that consensus was needed for constitutional posts as well.In reaction to a reporters inquiry, Sharma stated agreement could be forged even after submitting the candidateship for speaker tomorrow.The president and vice-president are elected through an electoral college consisting of members of the Parliament and province assemblies.
