KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 14The government has opened route permits for public vehicles with effect from Friday.

The provision has been made to ease the travel of the public for the upcoming festival of Dashain. It may be noted that advance ticket bookings for public transport has already been open from October 9 with the aim of facilitating the passengers going home for Dashain festival.More than two million people are expected to leave the federal capital to their respective home town and villages to celebrate Dashain, one of the greatest festival of the majority Hindus in the country. .
