For over three decades, it has had the same brutal idea of victory Curfew relaxed in Nepalgunj Assistant Chief District Officer Topendra Bahadur KC stated that the district administration made this decision considering the recent improvement in the town's situation, which has now returned to normalcy.The District Administration Office in Banke had issued a curfew order in Nepalgunj last Tuesday due to growing social unrest in the town.

It was implemented starting from 1:00 pm on October 3 in response to religious tensions reportedly stemming from a social media post targeting the Muslim community. On October 5, the daytime curfew was relaxed as the situation improved, but the nighttime curfew had remained in effect.Meanwhile, the Banke police administration has introduced a special security plan for the Dashain and Tihar festivals.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Narayan Dangi mentioned that passenger help desks have been established at the bus parks in Kohalpur and Nepalgunj.Similarly, similar facilities have been set up at the Jamunah checkpoint to facilitate the return of Nepali nationals from India for the festivals.To prevent any fraudulent activities targeting passengers, police surveillance has been intensified in and around the bus park areas and up to nearby railway stations in India.Plainclothes police officers have been deployed for this purpose.

Additionally, heightened surveillance has been put in place in Narainapur, which shares a border with India. .
