Railway and communications minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday stated India remains firmly on a credible development trajectory as the governments focus on facilities advancement will help financial development while promoting service activity and investments.Speaking at the ET Global Business Summit, Vaishnaw described modernisation programmes across Indian Railways that are targeted at not only enhancing the consumer experience however also producing first-rate trains, stations and tracks.

Speaking about the railways, Vaishnaw stated around 4,500 km of track network is being added every year.
