Shafaq News/ The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Judge Omar Ahmed, confirmed that the election process is smooth in Iraq.

At a press conference, Judge Ahmed stated that voting machines are operational at over 35 stations.

Shafaq News/ Iraqi authorities on Monday denied reports on security breaches in the country during ongoing elections for provincial and district councils.

"To date, we have not recorded any observations or security breaches in all Iraqi provinces," Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari
