HYDERABAD: An effort to take a selfie inside the newly introduced Vande Bharat Express proved costly for a guy without a ticket as the train doors automatically closed prior to he could deboard at Rajahmundry station on Monday.
A viral video shows the middle-aged male attempting to open the door while the train ticket examiner (TTE) is seen scolding him for his carelessness.The guy had boarded the train that reached Rajahmundry station from Vizag.
Though the male requested the TTE to unlock, the latter stated that nothing might be done.
However, another TTE noted that the guy would need to pay 6,000 fine.
Sources said that the man disembarked at Vijayawada and needed to pay fine, in addition to buy another train ticket to return house
