RAIPUR: A farmer in Chhattisgarhs Raigarh district was arrested for hacking his other half to death, apparently due to the fact that she was too intoxicated to wake up for deal with Friday morning.The event took place on Monday in Bakaruma village, around 100km from Raigarh town and 300km from Raipur.
The victims niece experienced the crime and the quarrel that preceded it, and she informed authorities after the females death.The implicated, Siyaram Sarathi, 46, returned house from a paddy centre to find his better half Neha, 35, asleep, say cops.
He attempted to wake her but could not as she was drunk.
The couple had to go to the fields to work however Neha was too intoxicated to rise, say cops.
After attempting a number of times, when she did rouse, the couple got into a quarrel over Nehas drinking routines.
When she didnt get up, the husband implicated her of problem drinker and the duo combated with each other over drinking practices.
Neha kept arguing while trying to get up, which infuriated Siyaram, who picked up an axe and assaulted her, say cops.
Neha was severely injured however Siyaram left her bleeding and went out to the fields.
When he returned, she remained in important condition.
Siyaram took her to a neighboring health center, where physicians referred to Raigarh District Hospital, where she passed away on Friday.
After her death, the niece called police, who jailed Siyaram for murder.
The police officers state Neha was his 3rd spouse, and the other two had actually passed away unforeseen deaths.
Cops say they are investigating all angles in the murder.
