BENGALURU: The Karnataka government employees on Wednesday withdrew its strike after the announcement of 17 percent interim pay hike.
The state federal government announced the hike after a series of meetings with the agents of the state government employees over the last two days.The walking will enter into force from April 1, 2023.
The committee set-up under chief secretary will go to states which have actually carried out old pension scheme and submit a report in 2 months.
Based on which, we will take a call, CM Basavaraj S Bommai said.Following that, the state civil servant who had prepared to go on indefinite strike from Wednesday, withdrew their decision.The actual quantum of hike will be decided after the 7th pay commission submits its suggestion.
