2023-01-25T12:49:21.000000 Z / Lawmaker Mustafa Jabbar Sanad on Wednesday announced that he won a suit he filed against the federal government to withdraw the monthly dispensation it sends to the Kurdistan region to fund the general public servants salaries.In a video recording he shared on his social networks accounts, Sanad said that the federal court, Iraqs highest judicial body, ruled the monthly remittances to the Kurdistan Regional Government as unlawful and unconstitutional .
Sanad celebrated the courts ruling as stopping a 20-year-old bleed of public funds .
