TEHRAN-- The presidents of Iran and Russia spoke over the phone on Wednesday to talk about a range of bilateral problems, according to a declaration by the Kremlin.
According to the statement, President Vladimir Putin and President Ebrahim Raisi talked about broadening bilateral cooperation in the energy, transport, and logistics sectors.
They likewise discussed the situation in Syria, the Kremlin stated.
The two sides agreed to continue top-level contact.The call came days after Iranian President Raisi got a copy of the credentials of the brand-new Russian ambassador to Iran, Alexey Dedov.
In his conference with Dedov, Raisi explained Tehran-Moscow relations as tactical.
