JAISALMER: A set of 26-year-old twins from Rajasthans Barmer living 900km apart in various states died within hours of each other in bizarrely comparable circumstances - one being up to his death from the terrace of a home in Surat and the other fatally slipping into a water tank after being called home from Jaipur.Brothers Sumer and Sohan Singh were cremated on Thursday in their native village of Saarno Ka Tala on the very same pyre, symbolising a tragic end to the delighted coincidence of their birth as twins two-and-a-half decades ago.Police stated Sumer was operating in Gujarats textile city while Sohan was preparing for the Grade II teacher recruitment test in Jaipur.
Their family reported that Sumer was on the phone when he slipped and had a deadly fall on Wednesday night.
Sohan fell into a water tank early Thursday, not long after returning house to the news of his twins death.
We arent ruling out suicide in the 2nd case, SHO Surendra Singh of Sindhari police station in Barmer said.Sohan, the older of the twins, had actually stepped out to bring water from a tank around 100 metres from his village home but never ever returned.
