Share market update: Realty shares trade in the red; Oberoi Realty slips around 5%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.9 per cent down at 224.95 around 12:16 pm on Friday with most of its components trading in the red.

Shares of Oberoi Realty (down 4.63 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 2.40 per cent), Unitech (down 2.17 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.52 per cent), were among the top laggards.

Brigade Enterprises (down 0.50 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 0.28 per cent) and Sobha (down 0.25 per cent) too were trading in the red.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 10.45 points at 10,608.85 while BSE Sensex was up 13.2 points at 35250.88 at that time. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Tata Motors, SBI, Ashok Leyland, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, HPCL, Idea Cellular and Infosys were among the most traded shares on the National Stock Exchange.
